We finally went to the Thanksgiving Point Highland Games and Scottish Festival this year. My Uncle Reed helps man the Buchanan booth and this and the Payson festival, but this is the first time we went. We enjoyed fish and chips, breaking out the kilt I bought in Scotland and hanging out with family. Including family that I had not met before and insisted that we remember "we're family" when we meet other Buchanans. We started watching the caber toss, weight throw and sheaf toss and couldn't stop.
We were lucky Hazel actually slept in her stroller most of the time so we didn't have to worry as much about sunburn on this hot day. Or worry about Hazel cramping our style when we couldn't stop watching the Highland Games.
Reed, Maycee, Hazel, Heidi and Chris.
