In June we spent most of a week out in South Carolina with Mike and Jewel visiting Chris' Oma and Opa—Hazel’s Gross Oma and Gross Opa. We had such a good time, despite the heat and humidity (the humidity is actually a little nicer for my dry skin). We spent a lot of time just relaxing together and swimming at the pools and beach.
Just killing some of the three-hour layover time, after eating, running around, freshening up and wishing there were beds in the airport.
Watering plants on the balcony.
The Pfaffroth men and their Oma and Opa.

Pool time with Gross Opa.
Always running.
Snack time on the picnic blanket in a chair that was used by Hazel's grandpa when he was her age.
Some of our highlights:
- Savannah
- Fripp Island, South Carolina beaches
- Eating a moon pie for the first time
- Hunting Island State Park
- Father's Day in SC
- Hazel and Aunt Jewel
